Transportation
Bodrum offers a variety of public transportation options. The most common and affordable is the dolmuş, a shared minibus that operates on fixed routes throughout the peninsula. These are easily identifiable and stop frequently along their routes. Larger buses also connect Bodrum to other towns and cities in Turkey. Taxis are readily available, but it's advisable to agree on a fare beforehand. While there is no tram or subway/metro system in Bodrum, the dolmuş network is quite extensive and efficient for getting around. Airport
Milas-Bodrum Airport (BJV) is located approximately 36 kilometers (22 miles) northeast of Bodrum city center. Several transportation options are available from the airport, including airport shuttle buses (Havaş), taxis, and private airport transfers. The Havaş shuttle is the most affordable option and takes approximately 45 minutes to reach Bodrum. Taxis are readily available outside the terminal, but it's advisable to agree on a fare before starting your journey. Car rentals are also available at the airport.
