Airport
Nanki-Shirahama Airport (SHM) is located approximately 5 kilometers (3 miles) from the center of Shirahama. Buses and taxis are available from the airport to Shirahama Station and other destinations in the town. The bus ride takes about 15-20 minutes.

Approximately 10-15 minutes by car from central Shirahama Hashigui-iwa are a series of around 40 rocks standing in a line offshore near Kushimoto. The unique rock formations are a designated Natural Monument and offer stunning views, especially at sunrise.
