Transportation

Kheerganga is accessible only by foot. The trek starts from Barshaini, which is the last motorable point. From Barshaini, you can hire a taxi or take a local bus from Bhuntar (near Kullu) to reach Barshaini. There are two main trekking routes to Kheerganga, one passing through Nakthan village and the other through Kalga village. Both routes are well-defined, but the Nakthan route is generally considered easier. Porters and mules are available in Barshaini to carry luggage.

Airport

The nearest airport to Kheerganga is Kullu-Manali Airport (also known as Bhuntar Airport) (KUU). It is approximately 50 kilometers away from Barshaini, the starting point of the trek to Kheerganga. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a local bus to reach Barshaini. The journey from the airport to Barshaini takes around 2-3 hours, depending on traffic conditions.
