Transportation

While Tholos itself is a relatively small village easily explored on foot, public transportation is available to connect it with other parts of Rhodes. There is no tram or subway/metro system in Tholos or on the island of Rhodes. Airport

The closest airport to Tholos is Rhodes International Airport "Diagoras" (RHO), located approximately 8 kilometers (5 miles) away. Taxis are readily available at the airport, and the journey to Tholos takes around 15-20 minutes. Alternatively, you can pre-book a private transfer or rent a car at the airport. Public buses also connect the airport to Rhodes Town, from where you can take another bus to Tholos, although this option is less convenient.
