Transportation

Airport
Koufonisia does not have its own airport. The closest airport is on the neighboring island of Naxos (JNX). The ferry journey from Naxos to Koufonisia takes approximately 30-60 minutes, depending on the type of ferry. Alternatively, you can fly into Athens International Airport (ATH) and take a ferry from Piraeus port to Koufonisia, which is a longer journey of around 4-7 hours.
