Best Time to Visit

Transportation

Ammoudi is primarily accessed by walking down the steps from Oia (approximately 300 steps) or by driving down a winding road. There is limited parking available at the harbor. Buses connect Oia to other parts of Santorini, but they do not directly serve Ammoudi. Taxis are also an option, but can be more expensive.

Airport

Santorini (JTR) International Airport is the closest airport, located approximately 17 kilometers (10.5 miles) from Ammoudi. Transportation from the airport to Ammoudi is typically by taxi or pre-booked private transfer. Car rentals are also available at the airport.
