Transportation
To reach Playa Aroa, you'll first need to get to Choroní. From Maracay, take a bus or taxi to Choroní. Once in Choroní, you can hire a boat (peñero) from the main pier to take you to Playa Aroa. The boat ride is a scenic journey along the coast and usually takes around 15-20 minutes. Negotiate the price with the boat operator beforehand. Alternatively, you can hike to Playa Aroa, but this is a more challenging option and requires a guide.
