Known for its commitment to quality and sustainable practices, Woodward Canyon offers a memorable tasting experience in a picturesque setting. Whether you're a seasoned wine connoisseur or a curious novice, you'll find something to appreciate in their exceptional wines. Founded in 1981 by Rick Small, Woodward Canyon Winery played a significant role in establishing Walla Walla Valley as a premier wine region. Rick's vision was to create wines that reflected the unique terroir of the area, and his dedication to quality has earned the winery numerous accolades over the years. The winery's estate vineyards are carefully managed to produce grapes of exceptional character, which are then transformed into elegant and age-worthy wines. Visitors to Woodward Canyon can enjoy guided tastings of their current releases, learn about the winemaking process, and explore the beautiful grounds. The tasting room offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and the knowledgeable staff are happy to answer your questions. While Woodward Canyon doesn't have a restaurant on-site, they often host special events with food pairings. Be sure to check their website for upcoming events and consider pairing your wine tasting with a meal at one of Walla Walla's excellent restaurants.
