Transportation
Caballo Lake State Park is located approximately 16 miles south of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. To reach the park, take I-25 South from Truth or Consequences. Take exit 59 for Caballo and follow the signs to the park. The roads within the park are well-maintained and accessible to most vehicles.
