Transportation

The Wild Rivers Recreation Area is located approximately 30 miles north of Taos. The most convenient way to reach the area is by car. From Taos, take US-64 West to NM-522 North. Follow NM-522 to Questa, then follow signs to the Wild Rivers Recreation Area. The Red River Miner's Transit provides limited service to Questa, but you'll still need to arrange transportation from Questa to the recreation area.
