Transportation
To reach the Iron Creek Trailhead from Stanley, Idaho, take Highway 21 north for approximately 3 miles. Turn left onto Forest Road 619 (Iron Creek Road) and follow it for about 8 miles to the trailhead. The road is generally well-maintained but can be rough in places, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended. Parking is available at the trailhead, but it can fill up quickly during peak season, so arrive early.
