Grant's Farm Guide
Grant's Farm: A Budweiser Legacy and Family Fun! Guide
Welcome to Grant's Farm, a beloved St. Louis attraction offering a unique blend of history, animal encounters, and Anheuser-Busch heritage. This sprawling estate, once owned by Ulysses S. Grant and later the Busch family, provides a delightful experience for visitors of all ages. From Clydesdale horses to exotic animals, Grant's Farm promises a memorable day of exploration and entertainment. The land that is now Grant's Farm has a rich history. Ulysses S. Grant farmed a portion of the land in the 1850s. August A. Busch Sr. purchased the property in 1903 and established it as a deer park. Over the years, the Busch family expanded the animal collection and added attractions, transforming it into the popular destination it is today. The iconic Bauernhof, a charming German-style farm village, adds to the farm's unique character. At Grant's Farm, you can enjoy a variety of activities. Take a tram ride through the Deer Park, where you'll encounter bison, elk, and other animals roaming freely. Visit the Clydesdale Stable to admire these magnificent horses up close. Kids will love the petting zoo and the carousel. And of course, no visit is complete without enjoying complimentary Anheuser-Busch products for adults (21+) at the Bauernhof. While there isn't a specific culinary tradition tied to Grant's Farm itself, the Bauernhof offers classic American fare and snacks to enjoy during your visit.
