All Aboard! A Family Adventure at Sonoma TrainTown Guide

Sonoma TrainTown Railroad is a delightful amusement park centered around a quarter-scale railroad. Perfect for families with young children, this charming park offers a unique and nostalgic experience with its miniature trains, petting zoo, and other kid-friendly attractions. It's a step back in time to a simpler era of family fun. While not a historical site in the traditional sense, Sonoma TrainTown Railroad has been a beloved Sonoma institution since 1958. It was created by Stanley Frank, who had a passion for trains and a vision for a family-friendly attraction. Over the years, it has become a cherished destination for generations of families, creating lasting memories. The main attraction at Sonoma TrainTown Railroad is, of course, the train ride. The 20-minute ride takes you through a miniature town, over bridges, and through tunnels, offering a whimsical and engaging experience. In addition to the train, the park features a petting zoo, a carousel, and other amusement rides suitable for young children. There are also picnic areas where families can enjoy a meal together.
