Transportation

Silverton Lakes Campground is located a few miles north of Silverton on Highway 110 (also known as the Animas Forks Road). From Silverton, head north on Highway 110. The campground will be on your left. The road is generally well-maintained, but it can be rough in places. High-clearance vehicles are recommended, especially if you plan to explore further up the Animas Forks Road. There is no public transportation directly to the campground.
