Nature's Cascade: Discover Bridal Veil Falls Guide

Escape the city and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Bridal Veil Falls, one of Utah's most picturesque waterfalls. Located in Provo Canyon, this stunning double-tiered waterfall plunges 607 feet down the canyon walls, creating a breathtaking spectacle. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or simply looking for a relaxing outdoor experience, Bridal Veil Falls offers something for everyone. Bridal Veil Falls has long been a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. In the early 20th century, an aerial tramway operated to the top of the falls, providing visitors with stunning views of the canyon. Unfortunately, the tramway was destroyed by an avalanche in 1996 and was never rebuilt. Despite the loss of the tramway, Bridal Veil Falls remains a beloved natural landmark and a testament to the power and beauty of nature. The main activity at Bridal Veil Falls is, of course, admiring the waterfall! A paved trail leads from the parking area to the base of the falls, making it accessible for people of all ages and abilities. You can also enjoy picnicking in the designated areas, taking photos, or simply relaxing and listening to the soothing sound of the cascading water. For the more adventurous, there are hiking trails that lead to higher vantage points, offering even more spectacular views. While there aren't specific culinary traditions associated with the falls, packing a picnic lunch to enjoy by the water is a popular choice.
