Transportation
Nine Mile Canyon is located approximately 40 miles northeast of Price, Utah. The best way to access the canyon is by car. From Price, take Highway 6 east to Wellington, then turn north onto Nine Mile Canyon Road (also known as Gate Canyon Road). The road through the canyon is a well-maintained dirt road, but it can be dusty and bumpy. A vehicle with good clearance is recommended, especially during wet conditions. There is no public transportation available to Nine Mile Canyon.
