Transportation
Access to the Chinati Mountains State Natural Area is primarily by car. From Presidio, take FM 170 (River Road) east. The park entrance is located off FM 170. Be aware that roads within the park may be unpaved and require a high-clearance vehicle. There is no public transportation directly to the park.
