Transportation
To reach the Horton Creek Trailhead, take Highway 87 north from Payson. Turn left onto Houston Mesa Road (Forest Road 64). Follow Houston Mesa Road for approximately 8 miles until you reach the Horton Creek Trailhead. Parking is available at the trailhead, but it can fill up quickly, especially on weekends. Consider carpooling or arriving early.
