Transportation

While there is no public transportation directly to the trailhead, you can drive to the Mount Garfield Trailhead located off I-70. Take Exit 42 (Highway 6) towards Palisade. Follow Highway 6 east for approximately 2 miles. Turn left onto Garfield Road and follow it to the trailhead parking area. Parking can be limited, especially on weekends, so arrive early.
