Whether you're a thrill-seeker or prefer a gentler pace, Trimper's offers something for everyone, making it a must-visit destination on the iconic Ocean City Boardwalk. Founded in 1893 by Daniel B. Trimper, Sr., Trimper's Rides began as a small carousel and a few other attractions. Over the years, it has grown into a sprawling amusement park, carefully preserving its historic charm while adding modern thrills. The centerpiece of Trimper's is the Herschell-Spillman carousel, a meticulously restored antique featuring hand-carved horses and intricate details. This carousel is a true work of art and a testament to the enduring legacy of Trimper's. The park has survived fires, storms, and changing times, always remaining a beacon of fun and entertainment for generations of visitors. At Trimper's, you can experience a wide array of rides, from classic carousels and Ferris wheels to thrilling roller coasters and spinning attractions. Test your courage on the Tidal Wave, a high-speed roller coaster, or take a spin on the Himalaya, a fast-paced ride that will leave you breathless. For younger visitors, there are plenty of gentle rides and games to enjoy. Don't forget to indulge in classic boardwalk treats like cotton candy, funnel cake, and saltwater taffy. Trimper's is more than just rides; it's a complete sensory experience that captures the essence of a classic American boardwalk.
