Established in 1930, Look Park was a gift to the city of Northampton from Mrs. Florence Look in memory of her husband, Frank Newhall Look. Her vision was to create a space where the community could gather and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Over the years, the park has evolved to include a variety of attractions while maintaining its commitment to providing a welcoming and accessible environment for all. Activities at Look Park are plentiful. Children will love the petting zoo, miniature train, and the spray park (seasonal). Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the gardens, rent a paddle boat on the pond, or catch a performance at the Pines Theater. The park also hosts various events throughout the year, including concerts, festivals, and holiday celebrations. While there are concession stands within the park offering typical park fare, visitors are also welcome to bring their own picnics to enjoy in the designated picnic areas.
