Transportation
The Ninilchik State Recreation Area is accessible by car via the Sterling Highway. From Anchorage, drive south on the Sterling Highway for approximately 180 miles. The recreation area is located just south of the village of Ninilchik. There is no public transportation directly to the recreation area.
