Transportation
Access to Mount San Jacinto State Park & Wilderness is available from Idyllwild via hiking trails. For access via the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, you'll need to drive to Palm Springs. From Idyllwild, take Highway 243 to Highway 74, then follow Highway 111 to Palm Springs. Follow signs to the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. The Mountain Area Rapid Transit (MARTA) Route 14 provides service between Idyllwild and Hemet, where you can connect to other transportation options.
