Transportation
From Idaho Springs, take Colorado Highway 103 south towards Mount Evans. The entrance to the Mount Evans Scenic Byway is located a few miles south of Idaho Springs. Note: The Mount Evans Scenic Byway is typically open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, weather permitting. Check the Colorado Department of Transportation website for current road conditions and closures.
