Unicoi State Park was established in 1954 and encompasses over 1,000 acres of pristine wilderness. The park's centerpiece is Unicoi Lake, a 53-acre lake perfect for swimming, fishing, and paddling. The park also features several hiking trails that wind through lush forests and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. At Unicoi State Park, you can hike to Anna Ruby Falls, a stunning double waterfall that plunges over 150 feet. Rent a kayak or paddleboard and explore Unicoi Lake. Transportation
Unicoi State Park is located just north of Helen. From Helen, take GA-356 N. The park entrance will be on your left. Parking is available throughout the park. The White County Transit System offers limited service to the park, but it's best to check their schedule for availability.
