Transportation
The South Rim is accessible by car via Highway 64. Within the park, a free shuttle bus system provides transportation to various viewpoints, trailheads, and facilities. The Kaibab Rim Route (Orange Route) goes east along the rim. The Village Route (Blue Route) connects lodging, visitor center and other facilities in the village. The Hermits Rest Route (Red Route) goes west along the rim (operates seasonally).
