Transportation
The primary way to access Colorado National Monument is by car. The main entrance is located near Fruita, Colorado. From Fruita, take Highway 340 (Broadway) south to the entrance. The Grand Valley Transit (GVT) operates bus routes in the Grand Junction and Fruita area, but it does not directly serve the Colorado National Monument. You may be able to take a bus to Fruita and then arrange for a taxi or ride-sharing service to reach the monument entrance.
