Transportation
Lamoille Canyon is located approximately 22 miles southeast of Elko. The most convenient way to reach the canyon is by car. Take NV-227 (Lamoille Highway) south from Elko. The road into the canyon is paved but can be narrow and winding in places. Be sure to check road conditions before you go, especially during the winter months.
