Transportation
Brooks Lake is accessible via US Highway 26/287 and Forest Service Road 515. From Dubois, head west on US 26/287. Turn north onto Forest Service Road 515 (Brooks Lake Road). Follow this road for approximately 10 miles to reach Brooks Lake. The road is generally well-maintained but can be rough in places. Check road conditions before traveling, especially during the spring and fall.
