Transportation
Monticello is located a few miles southeast of Charlottesville. The easiest way to get there is by car. Parking is available at the visitor center. The Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT) Route 9 offers limited service to Monticello. Check the CAT website for the current schedule and availability.
