Transportation
Carmel Beach is easily accessible from downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea. You can walk from most hotels and shops in the downtown area. The Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) Line 4 or 5 stops in Carmel-by-the-Sea, and from there, it's a short walk to the beach. Street parking is available, but it can be limited, especially during peak season. Consider arriving early to secure a spot.
