Inspiration Point Guide
A Panoramic Vista: Find Your Inspiration at Inspiration Point Guide
Inspiration Point is one of the most iconic and breathtaking viewpoints in Bryce Canyon National Park. Offering panoramic vistas of the park's amphitheater, this easily accessible overlook provides stunning views of the countless hoodoos stretching as far as the eye can see. Whether you're a seasoned photographer or simply seeking a moment of awe-inspiring beauty, Inspiration Point is a must-visit destination. Inspiration Point has undergone several name changes throughout its history. Originally known as "Bryce Point," it was later renamed "Three Wisemen" due to three prominent hoodoos that once stood in the foreground. Over time, erosion claimed these hoodoos, and the viewpoint was eventually renamed "Inspiration Point" to better reflect the feeling of wonder and awe that visitors experience when gazing upon the canyon's grandeur. The main activity at Inspiration Point is, naturally, taking in the incredible views! It's a fantastic spot for photography, especially during sunrise and sunset when the hoodoos are bathed in golden light. The viewpoint is easily accessible via a paved path, making it suitable for visitors of all abilities. There are also interpretive signs that provide information about the park's geology, history, and ecology. Consider bringing binoculars for a closer look at the distant formations.
