Transportation
The Oregon Badlands Wilderness is best accessed by car. From Bend, take Highway 20 east. Several access points and trailheads are located along the highway and on connecting dirt roads. A high-clearance vehicle is recommended for some of the unpaved roads, especially during wet conditions. Be sure to check road conditions before you go.
