Dr. Evermor's Forevertron Guide

Step into a Steampunk Dream: Dr. Evermor's Forevertron Guide

Prepare to be amazed by Dr. Evermor's Forevertron, a colossal scrap metal sculpture that defies categorization. This isn't just art; it's a whimsical journey into the mind of a visionary. Imagine a Victorian-era spaceship constructed from industrial relics, a testament to imagination and the power of repurposing. It's a must-see for anyone who appreciates the unusual, the creative, and the downright bizarre. The Forevertron is the brainchild of Tom Every, a demolition expert who transformed into Dr. Evermor after a near-death experience. He believed he was receiving messages from beyond, guiding him to build this machine to launch him into the afterlife. The sculpture is composed of over 300 tons of scrap metal, including the two Thomas Edison dynamos from the 1902 General Electric exhibit at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. Each piece has a story, a history woven into the larger narrative of the Forevertron. Wander through the grounds and marvel at the sheer scale and detail of the Forevertron. Take photos with the whimsical characters and contraptions that populate the landscape. Let your imagination run wild as you try to decipher the purpose of each component. While there isn't a formal culinary tradition associated with the site, nearby Baraboo offers a variety of dining options to satisfy your appetite after your otherworldly experience.
