Transportation
To reach Guemes Island, you must take the Guemes Island Ferry from Anacortes. The ferry terminal is located at 500 I Avenue, Anacortes, WA 98221. From I-5, take exit 230 for WA-20 W toward Anacortes/San Juan Islands. Follow WA-20 W to Commercial Avenue in Anacortes. Turn left onto 6th Street, then turn right onto I Avenue. The ferry terminal will be on your left. Check the Skagit County website for the current ferry schedule and fares. Foot passengers and vehicles are both permitted on the ferry.
