High Castle Hill, or Zamkova Hora, is the highest point in Lviv, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city and surrounding landscape. Unfortunately, the castle was gradually dismantled, and by the 19th century, only remnants remained. Today, a mound topped with a Polish flag and a television tower mark the spot where the castle once stood. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk up the winding paths to the summit. Transportation
From the city center, you can reach High Castle Hill on foot, following the signs. Alternatively, you can take tram number 1, 2, 7, 9 to the Pidzamche stop and then walk uphill for about 20-30 minutes.
