Transportation

Bwindi Bar is located near the entrance to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The most common way to reach Bwindi is by road from Kampala or Kigali. From Kampala, you can take a bus to Kabale or Kisoro, and then hire a private taxi or boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to reach your accommodation near the park entrance. From Kigali, you can take a bus to the border town of Cyanika or Katuna, and then hire transport to Bwindi. Many tour operators also offer transportation as part of their gorilla trekking packages.
