Dolau Beach Guide
Family Fun and Golden Sands: A Day at Dolau Beach Guide
Dolau Beach, a beautiful stretch of golden sand just north of New Quay, is the perfect destination for a classic seaside escape. With its gentle waves, clean sands, and stunning views of Cardigan Bay, Dolau Beach offers something for everyone, from families with young children to those seeking a relaxing day by the sea. Unlike some of the more rugged coves in the area, Dolau Beach boasts a wide expanse of sand that is ideal for building sandcastles, playing beach games, and simply soaking up the sun. The beach is relatively sheltered, making it a safe and enjoyable place for swimming and paddling. The views across Cardigan Bay are breathtaking, and you might even spot dolphins playing in the distance. Dolau Beach is a haven for family fun. Spend the day building sandcastles, swimming in the sea, or simply relaxing on the beach. Take a stroll along the coastal path and enjoy the stunning views. Keep an eye out for local wildlife, including seabirds and seals. While there are no restaurants directly on Dolau Beach, there is often a mobile catering van selling refreshments. Alternatively, New Quay is just a short walk away, offering a wide range of dining options.
