Venue Cymru: Entertainment by the Sea Guide
Venue Cymru, Llandudno's premier theatre, conference centre, and arena, is a must-visit for anyone seeking a dose of culture and entertainment during their trip. Perched right on the stunning North Shore promenade, this modern complex offers breathtaking views alongside a diverse program of events. From West End musicals and live music concerts to stand-up comedy and family shows, there's something to captivate every audience. Even if you're not catching a performance, the building itself is worth a look, with its sleek design and prime location. Venue Cymru has become a cornerstone of Llandudno's cultural scene since its opening. It replaced the original Pier Pavilion, which was destroyed by fire in 1994. The new venue was designed to be a multi-purpose space, capable of hosting a wide range of events, from large-scale conferences to intimate theatrical performances. Its location on the promenade ensures easy access and stunning views, making it a popular destination for both locals and tourists. Beyond attending a show, visitors can enjoy a meal with a view at the on-site restaurant, which offers a variety of dishes to suit all tastes. The bar is also a great place to relax and soak in the atmosphere before or after a performance. Keep an eye on Venue Cymru's website for upcoming events and book your tickets in advance, especially for popular shows. The venue also hosts conferences and exhibitions, so check their calendar for any interesting events happening during your visit.
