Transportation

The Capon Tree is located a few miles south of Jedburgh. The easiest way to reach it is by car. From Jedburgh, follow the A68 south and look for signs directing you to the Capon Tree. Parking is available nearby. Unfortunately, there is no direct public transportation to the immediate vicinity of the tree. You could take a bus towards Newcastleton and alight at a stop near the A68, but this would involve a significant walk (approximately 2 miles) along a busy road.
