Transportation
The nearest train station is Machynlleth, approximately 10 miles from Dolgellau. From Machynlleth, you can take a bus (T2 or X28) to Dolgellau. From Dolgellau, you can take the T3 bus towards Barmouth, getting off at the various trailheads for Cadair Idris, such as Minffordd or Dôl Idris.
