Cotswold Farm Park Guide
Cotswold Farm Park: Meet Rare Breeds and Make Memories! Guide
Get ready for a fun-filled family adventure at Cotswold Farm Park! Founded by Adam Henson, the park is dedicated to the conservation of rare breed farm animals. It's a fantastic opportunity to get up close and personal with a variety of animals, from Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs to Highland cattle. Whether you're travelling with kids or simply love animals, Cotswold Farm Park offers an unforgettable experience. Cotswold Farm Park was established in 1971 by Joe Henson, Adam's father, with the aim of protecting and promoting rare breeds of farm animals. At the time, many traditional breeds were facing extinction due to the rise of intensive farming methods. The park has played a vital role in preserving these breeds and educating the public about their importance. Today, it continues to be a leading conservation centre, working to ensure the survival of these unique animals. There's something for everyone at Cotswold Farm Park. Meet the animals in the paddocks, watch the daily demonstrations, and even try your hand at feeding some of the residents. The park also features a large adventure playground, a farm safari, and a conservation area. For a bite to eat, the on-site restaurant serves delicious meals made with locally sourced ingredients. The park shop offers a range of souvenirs and gifts, including products made from the farm's own animals.
