This stunning palace, a masterpiece of Arab and Mediterranean architecture, was once the residence of Baron Rodolphe d'Erlanger, a passionate musicologist and artist. Today, it serves as a museum and a center dedicated to preserving and promoting Arab and Mediterranean music. Completed in 1922, the palace reflects a blend of Arab, Andalusian, and Art Nouveau architectural styles. D'Erlanger was a fervent advocate for Arab music and dedicated his life to its study and preservation. He amassed a vast collection of musical instruments, manuscripts, and recordings, which now form the core of the museum's collection. Visitors to Ennejma Ezzahra can explore the palace's exquisitely decorated rooms, admire the intricate tilework, and marvel at the collection of musical instruments from across the Arab world.
