Whether you choose to hike or take the funicular, the journey to the top is an adventure in itself, rewarding you with unforgettable vistas. Khao Tang Kuan has a rich history, dating back to the Srivijaya period. The chedi at the summit is believed to house relics of the Buddha, making it a sacred site for Buddhists. In the past, the hill served as a strategic lookout point, offering a commanding view of the sea. Today, it's a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, who come to admire the stunning scenery and pay their respects at the chedi. The main activity is, of course, enjoying the view! Bring your camera to capture the stunning panorama of Songkhla Lake, the Gulf of Thailand, and the city skyline. You can also explore the chedi and learn about its history. For those who prefer a more active experience, the hike to the top is a challenging but rewarding climb. Alternatively, take the funicular for a quick and easy ascent. While there aren't specific food stalls at the very top, you'll find plenty of options at the base of the hill.
