Transportation

To reach Ao Phai, you'll first need to get to Ko Samet. From Bangkok, take a bus from Ekkamai Eastern Bus Terminal to Ban Phe pier in Rayong province (approximately 3-4 hours). From Ban Phe, take a speedboat or ferry to Ko Samet (approximately 15-45 minutes). Once on Ko Samet, you can hire a songthaew (shared taxi truck) to Ao Phai. Remember to agree on the price before you hop in.
