Transportation
During the Full Moon Party, transportation to Haad Rin is readily available from all over Ko Phangan. Songthaews (shared taxis) are the most common mode of transport. Be prepared to negotiate the price, and expect to pay more during the Full Moon Party. Outside of the Full Moon Party, songthaews are still available, but less frequent. You can also rent a scooter or car, but be aware that the roads can be busy and dangerous, especially during the Full Moon Party.
