This natural tunnel, formed by the intertwining branches of camphor trees, offers a refreshing and scenic route for cyclists and pedestrians alike. It's a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, providing a tranquil and enchanting experience. The Longtian Green Tunnel was formed naturally over time as the camphor trees lining the road grew and their branches intertwined, creating a dense canopy overhead. This natural tunnel has become a beloved landmark in Luye, attracting visitors seeking a peaceful and scenic escape. The cool shade provided by the trees makes it a particularly popular destination during the hot summer months. The primary activity at the Longtian Green Tunnel is cycling or walking along the shaded path. Several bicycle rental shops are located nearby, making it easy to explore the tunnel and the surrounding countryside. The tunnel is relatively short, but it connects to other cycling routes in the area, allowing for longer and more adventurous rides. While there are no specific food stalls directly within the tunnel, nearby Longtian village offers a variety of local Taiwanese snacks and meals. Look for vendors selling refreshing drinks and local produce.
