Transportation
The most common way to reach Gimmelwald is by taking a cable car from Stechelberg. From Interlaken, take bus 141 to Stechelberg, Schilthornbahn. The cable car then ascends to Gimmelwald. Alternatively, you can hike up to Gimmelwald from Stechelberg or Mürren, but be prepared for a steep climb.
