Transportation
The most common way to reach Lago Mognola is by hiking from Fusio. Fusio can be reached by bus from Locarno. Take bus number 315 from Locarno train station to Cavergno, Paese, then transfer to bus 331 to reach Fusio. From Fusio, follow the well-marked hiking trails to Lago Mognola. The hike takes approximately 2-3 hours.
