Transportation
Reaching Stekenjokk Plateau requires a car. From Vilhelmina, follow Route 45 north towards Storuman, then turn west onto Route 360 towards Klimpfjäll. Continue past Klimpfjäll, and the road will lead you onto the Stekenjokk Plateau. Be aware that the road across the plateau (Vildmarksvägen) is typically only open from June to October due to snow conditions. Check road conditions before you travel.
